About

Linda Eyman

Toronto Canada

Linda Eyman is best known for exceptional attention to detail and passionate use of rich colours. From early childhood her artwork revealed exceptional talent and by the age of 17, she was already creating commissioned portraits.

Formal studies include an HBA in Fine Art (University of Guelph) and post-graduate programs in Opera Performance (Wilfrid Laurier University and University of Toronto). She continued her art study with drawing and painting courses at OCAD; life drawing classes; and most recently, an intensive workshop in Venice, Italy.  As a young artist, she participated in juried shows and group/solo exhibitions while also producing commissioned set designs and indoor murals.

Linda’s artistic acumen has led to considerable success in two worlds – Art and Music.  After a successful performance career, she taught singing for 10 years at The Royal Conservatory of Music. She left to establish The Toronto Singing Studio where for the next 12 years she nurtured hundreds of singers through lessons, group classes and choirs.

Now Linda returns to her “first love” as a full-time artist, bringing a more mature yet fresh personal perspective to her work.

Linda’s portraits and paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, the USA and the UK.

Linda is a member of the Artists' Network, Toronto
